| So, blogging is just over, I guess? I mean, I looked at my record this past year and I am averaging a post a month...ish. So, what is it? I'm sure I am thinking as much, living as much and wondering what all you guys are thinking and living.
There are the steadys - like Sassy, Cabes and Bonnie L., but the rest of us have kinda stepped to the back of the room and watched them dance. Come on Nate, Kanon...where are you?
BTW, posting about how nobody is really posting counts as a post for me.

| So, here is a purge post to get out stuff I'm dealing with. If you are not up for it, hit delete.
I find that I tend to work a little too much so I won't have to deal with some things that are stressing me. If I keep my mind busy, then I won't worry. I don't know if that is more of a male thing, or just a thing.
I wish life wasn't such a contradiction. For example, there are amazing things happening in my life, but they tend to be overshadowed by the things that are stressing me and are completely out of my control.
I am in my home office, listening to Colby Caillat, watching my two beautiful children play out in the front yard outside my window, wishing I could enjoy a cloudy Sunday afternoon, BUT, I have been stressing about selling our other house so everything is tainted by worry. I know, but it is kicking my butt. You try paying two house payments. I wish Becca's post about God's provision was my post, but I guess I have more still to learn.
I am about to write Phil. 4:19 in marker on my bathroom mirror just so I am forced to look at it everyday.
I don't sleep when I stress. Up from 2 to 5:30 last night - and then had to work this morning. That just adds to the fatigue of living a life that feels helpless, out of control and too big.
Here's a big one - those that pray, say a prayer for me today.

| For several months now I have been working on a new record. I have had an awesome time working with some amazing producers, musicians and artists - creating a new worship record for our church, and a new sound for me.

| Just took five minutes to read posts before I head out to the next meeting.
I would just like to declare that as of this past weekend, I am officially ready for Autumn. Of course, Houston is like one of the worst places to want Fall since our summer will run straight into Halloween, I'm sure. But, i actually watched hunting videos, got up early to ride in the Jeep with the top off before it reached the upper 90's, and pulled out the good acoustic-laid-back music to listen to in the car.
By the way, here is a snap-shop of life: my wife is pregnant with our third child, our house is for sale, we are closing on our new house next week, my first-born starts kindergarten in a month (btw, sucks that I have to use spell-check to spell kindergarten correctly), I am working every night in the studio right now working on a new record to be released in September, I was just made campus pastor at our main campus here in Houston, we are bringing two more campuses online on September 9th and I LOVE IT! Nothing like the Fall to get things going!
Who needs sleep?
